Raul Moya-Mula is a London-based visual artist working primarily in photography. Integrating digital techniques with mixed media, including oil and collage, his practice explores the complexities of the human psyche. Focusing on mental health, memory, and identity, his work addresses the realities of anxiety, depression, and loss, aiming to foster open dialogue and reduce associated stigma.
Raul graduated with a B.A. (Hons) in Photography from the University of the Arts London in 2008. He has since exhibited widely in London and internationally. His piece "Emptiness" was published in the British Journal of Photography, and he recently exhibited "Nostalgia" at the 2024 Venice Biennale. In 2026, he was represented by Siger Gallery at the London Art Fair.
Currently, Raul is studying a MA Art History at The Open University London, further enriching the historical and theoretical foundations of his creative practice.
